Serving Cheshire Since 1969

Providing Safe & Affordable Housing for Over 55 Years

Cheshire Housing Authority (CHA) is a public housing authority dedicated to providing safe, decent, and affordable housing options for low and moderate income families, seniors 62+, and individuals with disabilities in the Town of Cheshire, Connecticut.

We manage a variety of housing opportunities, including Beachport Apartments — our community specifically designed for elderly and disabled residents — as well as Foote Commons, which offers affordable family homes throughout Cheshire. Jack's Farm, our newest development, is currently under construction and will add up to 50 additional units.

"To make a difference in the community by providing decent, safe and affordable housing in the Town of Cheshire with a caring staff and an active Board of Directors."
